Project of the Month: Remote Recording

The Project of the Month is a regular opportunity to focus on special projects and needs across the whole spectrum of Alliance ministries. Each project is made available on our website to make our audience aware of particular ways in which they can support our work.

Purpose: Our goal is to improve the audio recording of Alliance events by obtaining our own remote recording equipment. This easy to use equipment would greatly enhance our ability to provide high-quality recordings of all Alliance events. We are currently forced to rely on the recording abilities of each venue and their own recording staff which are often unpredictable and not uniform in quality.

Budget: The cost of remote recording equipment including microphones, recorders, power supply and sturdy shipping cases is $4,500.

Funding: At this time, our budget does not leave room for such purchases but we believe the addition of this equipment will significantly improve the quality of recording at many Alliance events. Thus, we are seeking funding above and beyond our regular fundraising efforts.
